As we scale our technology team, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and optimize high-performance services.

Role Overview

The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems. You will work with microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and advanced data processing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Spring Boot and Python.
  • Build and scale microservices, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Integrate with cloud services on AWS and GCP.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure seamless API consumption.
  • Implement security best practices for authentication, authorization, and data protection.
  • Optimize database performance using relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in backend development.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Python, MySQL, DynamoDB.
  • Cloud Expertise: Experience with AWS and GCP.
  • API Development: Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
  • DevOps & Automation: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Security & Compliance: Understanding of best practices for secure coding and data protection.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and debugging skills.
