As we scale our product team, we are looking for a Data & Software Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of our software and data pipelines.

Role Overview

The Data & Software QA Specialist will collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, identify potential issues, and ensure robust software and data performance. This role requires an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and proactive ownership to drive continuous improvement across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for applications, APIs, and data processes

Validate data integrity, transformation logic, database queries, and dashboards

Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing

Document test strategies, defects, and resolutions

Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and product owners to define quality standards

Monitor production systems and assist with root cause analysis

Support QA automation frameworks and CI/CD best practices

Continuously improve QA processes for efficiency, coverage, and scalability

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field

3+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or similar roles, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or data-driven environments

Proficiency with QA tools (Selenium, Postman, JMeter), SQL, version control (Git), and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)

Knowledge of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies

Preferred: ISTQB/CSTE certification, programming/scripting skills, cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, data quality assessment tools

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
